Obamacare Architect Admits to Criminal Conspiracy
Jon Gruber is the haughty imperialist overlord who bragged about fooling “stupid Americans” into supporting Obamacare. Gruber is in the news because tapes of him have recently surfaced. The Obama minion can be seen arrogantly boasting about meeting with the president behind closed doors and helping him find ways to “fool… stupid Americans” into supporting the bill.
Because Obama chose his strategy, Gruber claims, the White House had the general public begging for a horrible screw job that would raise rates, reduce coverage, establish death panels, and get rid of those pesky tax rebates each spring.
Obama and Gruber fooled “stupid Americans” with deceptive legalese, a controlled, corporate press response, and a series of barefaced lies that were told by our reigning deity on a platform built atop quicksand.
A 2007 Washington Post article reported that Gruber was the single “most influential healthcare expert” for Obama and the Democrat Party. Former White House aide Steve Ratner called Gruber “the guru” of Obamacare. Harry Reid called Gruber “one of the most respected economists in the world.” Obama himself once lauded Gruber as “one of the brightest minds in academia and policy circles” and acknowledged that he has “stolen ideas from [him] liberally.”
Days after the Gruber tapes emerged, though, President Obama began to play dumb.
Obama recently said Gruber was “some advisor who never worked on our staff.” Obama has heard of this guy, but he barely knows him. Gruber played no role in crafting the Unaffordable Screw Job Death Panel Bankrupt America Double Prices Ration Care Get Rid of Charity Kill the Veterans Act.
Sort of like Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright, Gruber was just a guy down the street.
At least eight video clips document a proud, smirking Gruber blithely recounting personal conversations he had with Obama in which they ultimately decided to make a concerted effort to deceive the people in order to get Obamacare passed, because “I’d rather have the bill than not.”
Sort of like “the end justifies the means.”
What is the end? One must simply examine statements from a younger Obama to discern his true intentions. He was filmed in a private fundraiser at AFL-CIO in 2007. In this publicly available video, Obama very clearly describes the end that he envisions.
I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer, universal healthcare plan. There is no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, spending fourteen per cent of its gross domestic product, cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody. That’s what [we are] talking about when we say ‘everybody in, nobody out.’ A single-payer healthcare plan. Universal healthcare plan. That's what I’d like to see, but, as all of you know, we may not get there immediately.
The reason a socialist model cannot happen immediately is because the private model must be destroyed first. Obamacare is designed to do just that.
The full repercussions of Obamacare have not yet been felt. Obama has unilaterally declared that he will refuse to enforce over thirty aspects of the dually passed legislation. Imagine if the next white, male, Republican president simply announces that he won’t enforce any of it! We will rightfully call him a dictator and demand impeachment.
Most folks still do not understand how serious this issue is, because they haven’t been fired and re-hired as part-time staff. Most people haven’t received a cancellation notice. Millions did. I did. But most didn’t.
When I was hired in 2013, I was personally told by my employer that she wanted to bring me on full time and make me part of the team, but she was being forced to fire full-time employees and bring in part timers because of Obamacare.
She actually used the word during our final meeting. Obamacare. “I can’t give you more than 29 hours. Obamacare.”
So I ask you the question: Was Obama intentionally lying when he said “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, period. If you like your plan, you can keep your plan, period?” Was Obama intentionally lying when he said “health insurance… may end up costing less than your cable bill or your cell phone bill?”
Gruber admitted to intentionally conspiring with Obama to mislead the public by manipulating “the stupidity of the American voter.” Another top architect, Ezekiel Emanuel, admitted that the people should “be prepared to kiss your insurance company good-bye forever,” because the plan is to destroy the private insurance model. Obama said back in 2007 that he wanted a single-payer model, but “we may not get there immediately.”
Our so-called representatives are admitting to intentionally destroying an entire industry while convincing “stupid Americans” that ACA is actually for their own good. Is this not an admission of criminal conspiracy and fraud?
